First Planet Open There are strage things afoot on OmniTV... In case you haven't heard, Donnie Santini has returned from his space travels and is back in Habbo Hotel! He's been sharing lots of strange stories with us, including something about a Black Monolith trying to tell him a secret message or something like that. Are you a good receiver? TackyPenguin has great advice on getting pressies... Ever heard the saying, "It is better to give than receive."? Well, on Habbo I feel that is true, sometimes! I enjoy what items I have, but I also enjoy giving...to my friends, to Habbo’s in need, to people with no decorating sense :P. But what I would like to share with you are tips on being a good receiver: 1. Always say please and thank you. I mean one large, purple dinosaur can't be wrong. They are the magic words. 2. Take what you are given and be grateful. Please don't ask to exchange it. 3. Don't be greedy. If the giver offers one item, take it. There are always Habbos out there with less than yourself. That is one item more than you had. And finally... 4. Don't become the givers "new best friend." A Witchy Poem Zorrioa shares a scary poem for Habboween... You asked for it! You made an article to promote the poem, So I wrote this one just to show 'em. You just may think it’s weird for me to do this, So I’m writing a poem 'bout a lil' old witchy miss. It was old Habbo's eve and all through the hotel, People were shrieking because of a smell. A little old lady had just brewed a stew That would make you know just what to do. She smelt it once and threw back her head, She screamed to the world," Now I will learn how to fill Habbo with dread" She sniffled that smell right into her nose, Around old Habbo’s Eve just 'bout anything goes. "It needs a few touches, to make it awesome, Just to make this old potion really blossom." She took from her shelf an old blue sandal, It was taken from a little boy named Randal. Just about when she would dip it in, The Tele glowed and started to spin. Through the doors looking awful surprised, It was a little Habbo with shining blue eyes. The witch screamed, “ No it can’t be you!" Randal had just stepped through the door without his left shoe. He ran at the witch and jumped over the cauldron. It’s a good thing he had his other shoe on. He grabbed the sandal right from the witch’s hand. The witch let out a piercing scream that could be heard all through the land. The witch then muttered a few words under her breath. Then spiders came down and hit him right in the chest. Randal dropped the shoe and ran away screaming. Then with a jolt he realized he had been dreaming. He got out of bed and looked for his shoe. He found one but not number two. Headless Horseman OddMunk makes floating pumpkins soo easy!! I'm sure you have all heard the tale of the Headless Horseman, and I bet you never thought that you could bring this awesome idea to Habbo Hotel. Well now, in your very own room, you can become the headless horseman for Habboween! All you need is a couple of rollers, a chair, two Z shelves and of course, a pumpkin. Here I explain how to make this awesome idea yours, in a few easy to follow steps. 1. Set up the rollers facing each other so that anything on them will keep rolling. 2. Place a Z shelf on one of the rollers. As it rolls back and forth, put a second shelf onto the first one. Remove the bottom shelf and put it on the top. Take the bottom shelf off again, but, this time, put a pumpkin lamp on the top. Remove the bottom shelf one last time to get a floating pumpkin. 3. This part takes precise timing. As the pumpkin starts rolling to the other roller, quickly put down the chair. With perfect timing, the chair should fit right under the pumpkin. 4. Sit in the chair, and the pumpkin will take the place of your head. This effect will also work with skull candles, giving you a skeleton head. Experiment with this effect for plenty of fun! How to escape a boring party! Kitta 01 explains the polite way to make an exit... Ever been invited to a party and you get there and its not that fun? And you want to get out of the party as quick as possible without upsetting your mate? Here are a few tips on how to escape a party without your host getting upset:- 1. *Reload Habbo* (Press f5 button) and when you get back on tell the host that you have got a lot of lag and you are going to an empty room. Then go to a room of your choice and make sure they don’t find out! 2. Say to the host: I’ll be right back, I’m just going to trade something with my other friend. Come out of the room and stay out! (If they keep asking why you are taking so long simply say: "The guy could NOT make up his mind!.. I’m very sorry") 3. Tell the host that your friend is in trouble and you need to help him/her so you are going to have to miss the party! Note: You might need a bit of drama experience for some of the steps in these. The last scary story... "Revenge" There is one night in Habbo when revenge isn't just a game... By Xx....U.....xX It was October 31st, Halloween, And all the Habbos of Habbo Hotel, were celebrating, with costume parties, games, and even trick or treating for Furni. However there was one Habbo named Fitted, he was hosting a game of Revenge (his favorite game), and as usual at the end of his games, he would kick the winner and lock the room, scamming the players of their Furni. Fitted had done this routine daily, and at the end of each day he go into one of his rooms, unload all the Furni he had scammed then count it while laughing like a maniac. The night was still young he thought, so he decided to host one last game of Revenge for the night. He opened up his console and invited all of his friends (or victims). His room was full of potential victims and he began the game, as he asked questions he noticed one mysterious looking girl in the back of the room sitting ever so quiet. She gave shivers down his spine with her Pale face, black hoodie, and black skirt. By the end of the game she was still there, she was in the final two, and she for the first time, she had answered his question and won. Her name was "Spiritress". "May I have my prize now please" she said eerily", Fitted just laughed and said "Not in this life time", but before he could kick her she said something that would haunt him for the rest of the night, "I curse you Fitted, you shall be cursed forever!" Fitted just laughed and said "It’s a Habbo noob" and kicked her. Fitted left his revenge room then went to one of his empty rooms to unload his Furni. After unloading all of his Furni he began to think about what Spiritress said. He thought to himself, "How can you get cursed on Habbo? Right...” Then someone appeared in his door, someone named "Spirit1". He gave a yelp, and then kicked the person and doorbell locked his room. Then his doorbell rang, it was "Spirit2". Fitted became confused and a little scared. Another door bell rang, it was "Spirit3", then another, "Spirit4". Fitted didn't let any of them in but the doorbell kept ringing, so he changed the room to Pass lock, but that didn’t stop the doorbell, the spirits kept coming up until "Spirit666", Fitted now petrified, decided to turn off Habbo, but he couldn't. And then she came, "Spiritress" appeared in his room, Fitted tried to kick her but he failed. "For scamming me, Fitted you have been eternally cursed, to stay in this locked room forever". After she spoke those words she left. Fitted opened up his navigator but there were no rooms, and whenever he tried to log out of Habbo, he couldn't. However, he kept getting doorbell rings, from "Spirit1" to "Spirit666". No one has ever seen Fitted again, even though when you search his name he’s always online and in a guest room, and when you search his name in the navigator, there’s a room with 667/25 Habbos in it. Habbo Tunes Artist: Marty Casey & Lovehammers Album: Lovehammers Lovehammers rise to success was when Marty signed up on the hit reality show Rockstar:INXS. He ended up winning second place out of the thousands of talented musicians that gave it their all to be in the competition. Since Marty didn't win he went back to his band Lovehammers. They became much more popular, and rocked the charts with their hit song “Trees”. Their Alternative fierce sound is fun to rock out too, so check out their newest CD. Trust me you will love it! Head banging to what, you ask? Well that’s a question I can answer easily. Recently, for my birthday I got the new Senses Fail CD “Still Searching” and can all I can say is “wow”. The music is a mix of hard rocking guitars and blasting drum beats. The music itself could be put on a CD and I’d listen to it without the words; although, honestly that would be like having a cake without the frosting. The lyrics are powerful and loud, and make you think. This band has defiantly proved themselves in the emo/screamo genre. Notable songs on the CD include the first single “Calling All Cars” and the song that gave the CD it’s name “Still Searching”. If you a fan of screamo or any type of rock music for matter due yourself a favor and pick up this CD Artist: My Chemical Romance Album: The Black Parade For one, if it was ethical I would actually have babies with the album! But I have to take into account copy right etc it would just take too long! This album what is there to say its great, I’m obsessed with it already and it only came out on Monday!! I’m going to ruin his life any way that I can, starting with the destruction of Habbo Hotel. Are you with us?” I didn’t agree with him. I wanted to get out of this place. “Well?” said Phane impatiently. I hesitated and looked over my shoulder for Saiph, he was gone! What happened to him? My head hurt quite a bit and everything was fuzzy. I finally got my vision back and I realized that I was in a cell. "Oh good, you're up," a voice said. I turned around and there was Saiph sitting in a corner. "What's going on? Where are we?" I asked frantically. "Well, I wandered away from you because I thought that was Kedo, as did you. But once I found out it was Phane, I tried to run. You may not have noticed, but there were two big security guards by the door. One of them got me and dragged me off to this cell. I take it the other one got you. He threw you in here and left. That was three hours ago," Saiph explained. Suddenly I heard footsteps coming down the hallway towards our cell. Phane stepped out in front of our cell. "Hello, boys," he said in an evil tone. "Let us go, you fiend!" I yelled. "Tsk tsk, you're in no position to be yelling at me. No matter, in a few minutes you'll be under my control." "What do you mean?" Saiph piped up. "In a few minutes one of my guards will be in here to collect you both and take you to the brain draining machine. Once you have been freed of self thought, you will follow me." "Never!" I said. In the USA hotel, the apps have now open for the habbo X's so, here is a little message from Becs to tell you about it Do you remember what it was like the first time you logged into Habbo? You didn't know where to go or what to do AND you were a 2 inch, pixelated walking target for meanies! Wouldn't it have been nice if someone had been there to explain the basics? And how cool would it have been to have someone help you find some shiny new friends who would have shown you how fun Habbo could be? Dream no more…that's what Habbo Xs are for! What Are Habbo Xs? Habbo Xs (short for eXperts) make friends with new players, chat with them, and show them the ropes. Xs will mainly hang about in the Welcome Lounge, but occasionally you will see them in other Public Rooms. Habbo Xs will introduce the Habbo Way and help make a new Habbos first visit to the Hotel safe and fun. Habbo Xs are different from Moderators. Habbo Xs meet and greet new users and introduce them to the Hotel, answer questions, show them how things work, etc. They don’t have tools, and they don’t moderate the Hotel. Think of Habbo Xs as gracious hosts and good-will ambassadors - Habbos who are there to take care of our newest Habbo players. Habbo Xs help with events, games, and safety. They’re eXtra special. Habbo Xs have funkeh badges too! A real Habbo X will always show their badge when asked. Do You Have What it Takes? We’re looking for a few good Habbo Xs. Just fill out the application below, if you qualify. Keep in mind that not just any Habbo can become a Habbo X! We are looking for Habbos with bags of experience, so we ask that Habbo X applicants have been visiting the site for at least six months. Console Missions Vixenx takes a closer look at console missions... An interesting way of telling one Habbo from another is through their "mission". You can read a lot into their personality, likes and current mood just through this little sentence or two. It's really awesome [Honestly!] and led me to write up this little list of the main types of missions being clicked on around the Hotel. Maybe you can spot yours! Quotes: Many Habbos have missions with famous quotes, or lines from songs and poems that mean something to them. This could show they are outspoken and if it's a song then they may be interested in finding friends with similar musical interests. Helpful Habbo: You will often see a Habbo's mission as something along the lines of "Just Ask" or "Help is at hand" meaning that they feel they are an experienced player and wish to help other Habbos. Randomness: Yep what I like to call "randomness", every now and then you'll come across a mission which is just well...WEIRD. Something like "Cheese", "Bob rocks" or "HULLABALOO". Usually this is the case if one can't think of anything else to write or perhaps they are just looking for a reaction among their fellow Habbos! The Love Mission: One of the common missions expresses love, "Laura loves Jake", "James and Daisy 4ever" etc. Usually found in fancy accented letters or with love hearts, this habbo wants everyone to know they are in loove! The Mission Mission: I think that most Habbos when they first started playing had a mission like this, "To get a job" or "To make friends and have fun", after all it is a MISSION! The Habbos who have these missions are usually new to the hotel, and you should be nice to them :) Jobs/Armies: Newer players and a few experienced often have missions showing their "Habbo Job", for example "M@DM" or "[U.S.T] Rank 5". This is the often the case if they have yet to use their mission for expressing themselves, but usually it can be found along side something else. Carryin: Something like "Carrying: Lightsaber" or "Carrying: Make-up" is common to see at the end of a lot of Habbos missions. Possibly it is something they really carry around with them in the real world, something that shows who they are. Blank: Self-explanatory, a blank mission. A lot of Habbos go for this option if they can't think of a suitable thing to write. Trading: Simply "Trading" as the mission is another common one and often used to trick other Habbos into thinking they are engaged in a trade, or maybe to limit the number of trades they are offered. Name: This is the Habbo's real life name or a nickname they like to be known by, usually with decorative alt symbols around it or a TM sign at the end. This is most likely so they can be known by their actual name, and not as "hotbabex848" or "coolguy4285". Offer me: "Offer me a lodge bar for my candy bed" Need I explain? This Habbo is putting their mission to use! Advertising: Another practical way of using the mission, this is just a good method of advertising rooms or websites. (Be very careful if you visit websites advertised in a Habbo's mission, it's probably best if you don't go to them at all). Phew, I think that just about covers them all! There are so many different ways you can express yourself through missions, but remember whatever one you choose to have try to be yourself and stay unique :] Thanks for reading! SAW! takes "Saw" to a whole new level... In honor of Saw 3 releasing into theaters on October 27, I have decided to make my own Habbo Version of Saw. Enjoy :D -Snip was a nice Habbo and every Habbo loved him except the ones he scammed or stole furni from. "Wh..where am I?" -snip asked. There was no reply. He couldnt see anything except an outline of a red portable tv. The screen flashed on. A clown appeard, "Hello -snip. I have seen your actions and the ways you play Habbo. They dont follow the Habbo Way,and that's why you're here. I want to play a game." The lights turned on, and it revealed that the room was full of Furni, and the floor was covered by Petal Patches. "This is all the Furni that you scammed or stole from fellow Habbos. You will have thirty seconds to try and find a key for the door in the Petal Patches, and to make it even more fun the lights will be out and you can only use the flashlight in front of you. While you're looking every second the Furni around you will move closer and closer. If you dont find the key all that will be left of you is a puddle of crushed pixels." In all honesty, many Habbos were in the same boat as me. A majority of them said they didn't know why they logged on either! A select few told me that Habbo was an exciting alter ego to their otherwise "normal" lives. Many expressed that Habbo was a fun and interesting hobby that demanded their attention. Other Habbos logged on to make time pass quickly. You know what they say, time flies when you're having fun! My research has given me a new outlook to who I am as a person. I enjoy what items I have, but I also enjoy giving...to my friends, to Habbo’s in need, to people with no decorating sense :P. But what I would like to share with you are tips on being a good receiver: 1. Always say please and thank you. I mean one large, purple dinosaur can't be wrong. They are the magic words. 2. Take what you are given and be grateful. Please don't ask to exchange it. 3. Don't be greedy. If the giver offers one item, take it. There are always Habbos out there with less than yourself. That is one item more than you had. And finally... 4. Don't become the givers "new best friend." A Witchy Poem Zorrioa shares a scary poem for Habboween... You asked for it! You made an article to promote the poem, So I wrote this one just to show 'em. You just may think it’s weird for me to do this, So I’m writing a poem 'bout a lil' old witchy miss. It was old Habbo's eve and all through the hotel, People were shrieking because of a smell. A little old lady had just brewed a stew That would make you know just what to do. She smelt it once and threw back her head, She screamed to the world," Now I will learn how to fill Habbo with dread" She sniffled that smell right into her nose, Around old Habbo’s Eve just 'bout anything goes. "It needs a few touches, to make it awesome, Just to make this old potion really blossom." She took from her shelf an old blue sandal, It was taken from a little boy named Randal. Just about when she would dip it in, The Tele glowed and started to spin. Through the doors looking awful surprised, It was a little Habbo with shining blue eyes. The witch screamed, “ No it can’t be you!" Randal had just stepped through the door without his left shoe. He ran at the witch and jumped over the cauldron. It’s a good thing he had his other shoe on. He grabbed the sandal right from the witch’s hand. The witch let out a piercing scream that could be heard all through the land. The witch then muttered a few words under her breath. Then spiders came down and hit him right in the chest. Randal dropped the shoe and ran away screaming. Headless Horseman OddMunk makes floating pumpkins soo easy!! I'm sure you have all heard the tale of the Headless Horseman, and I bet you never thought that you could bring this awesome idea to Habbo Hotel. Well now, in your very own room, you can become the headless horseman for Habboween! All you need is a couple of rollers, a chair, two Z shelves and of course, a pumpkin. Here I explain how to make this awesome idea yours, in a few easy to follow steps. 1. Set up the rollers facing each other so that anything on them will keep rolling. 2. Place a Z shelf on one of the rollers. As it rolls back and forth, put a second shelf onto the first one. Remove the bottom shelf and put it on the top. Take the bottom shelf off again, but, this time, put a pumpkin lamp on the top. Remove the bottom shelf one last time to get a floating pumpkin. 3. This part takes precise timing. As the pumpkin starts rolling to the other roller, quickly put down the chair. With perfect timing, the chair should fit right under the pumpkin. 4. Sit in the chair, and the pumpkin will take the place of your head. This effect will also work with skull candles, giving you a skeleton head. Experiment with this effect for plenty of fun! How to escape a boring party! Kitta 01 explains the polite way to make an exit... Ever been invited to a party and you get there and its not that fun? And you want to get out of the party as quick as possible without upsetting your mate? Here are a few tips on how to escape a party without your host getting upset:- 1. *Reload Habbo* (Press f5 button) and when you get back on tell the host that you have got a lot of lag and you are going to an empty room. Then go to a room of your choice and make sure they don’t find out! 2. Say to the host: I’ll be right back, I’m just going to trade something with my other friend. Come out of the room and stay out! (If they keep asking why you are taking so long simply say: "The guy could NOT make up his mind!.. I’m very sorry") 3. Tell the host that your friend is in trouble and you need to help him/her so you are going to have to miss the party! Note: You might need a bit of drama experience for some of the steps in these. The last scary story... "Revenge" There is one night in Habbo when revenge isn't just a game... By Xx....U.....xX It was October 31st, Halloween, And all the Habbos of Habbo Hotel, were celebrating, with costume parties, games, and even trick or treating for Furni. However there was one Habbo named Fitted, he was hosting a game of Revenge (his favorite game), and as usual at the end of his games, he would kick the winner and lock the room, scamming the players of their Furni. Fitted had done this routine daily, and at the end of each day he go into one of his rooms, unload all the Furni he had scammed then count it while laughing like a maniac. The night was still young he thought, so he decided to host one last game of Revenge for the night. He opened up his console and invited all of his friends (or victims). His room was full of potential victims and he began the game, as he asked questions he noticed one mysterious looking girl in the back of the room sitting ever so quiet. She gave shivers down his spine with her Pale face, black hoodie, and black skirt. By the end of the game she was still there, she was in the final two, and she for the first time, she had answered his question and won. Her name was "Spiritress". "May I have my prize now please" she said eerily", Fitted just laughed and said "Not in this life time", but before he could kick her she said something that would haunt him for the rest of the night, "I curse you Fitted, you shall be cursed forever!" Fitted just laughed and said "It’s a Habbo noob" and kicked her. Fitted left his revenge room then went to one of his empty rooms to unload his Furni. After unloading all of his Furni he began to think about what Spiritress said. He thought to himself, "How can you get cursed on Habbo? Right...” Then someone appeared in his door, someone named "Spirit1". He gave a yelp, and then kicked the person and doorbell locked his room. Then his doorbell rang, it was "Spirit2". Fitted became confused and a little scared. Another door bell rang, it was "Spirit3", then another, "Spirit4". Fitted didn't let any of them in but the doorbell kept ringing, so he changed the room to Pass lock, but that didn’t stop the doorbell, the spirits kept coming up until "Spirit666", Fitted now petrified, decided to turn off Habbo, but he couldn't. And then she came, "Spiritress" appeared in his room, Fitted tried to kick her but he failed. "For scamming me, Fitted you have been eternally cursed, to stay in this locked room forever". After she spoke those words she left. Fitted opened up his navigator but there were no rooms, and whenever he tried to log out of Habbo, he couldn't. However, he kept getting doorbell rings, from "Spirit1" to "Spirit666". No one has ever seen Fitted again, even though when you search his name he’s always online and in a guest room, and when you search his name in the navigator, there’s a room with 667/25 Habbos in it. Habbo Tunes Artist: Marty Casey & Lovehammers Album: Lovehammers Lovehammers rise to success was when Marty signed up on the hit reality show Rockstar:INXS. He ended up winning second place out of the thousands of talented musicians that gave it their all to be in the competition. Since Marty didn't win he went back to his band Lovehammers. Head banging to what, you ask? Well that’s a question I can answer easily. Recently, for my birthday I got the new Senses Fail CD “Still Searching” and can all I can say is “wow”. The music is a mix of hard rocking guitars and blasting drum beats. The music itself could be put on a CD and I’d listen to it without the words; although, honestly that would be like having a cake without the frosting. The lyrics are powerful and loud, and make you think. This band has defiantly proved themselves in the emo/screamo genre. Notable songs on the CD include the first single “Calling All Cars” and the song that gave the CD it’s name “Still Searching”. If you a fan of screamo or any type of rock music for matter due yourself a favor and pick up this CD Artist: My Chemical Romance Album: The Black Parade For one, if it was ethical I would actually have babies with the album! Never ending story... I stared at him in confused frustration. “Then.. who are you?” He slowly lifted his head, “I am Kedo’s twin brother, Phane. Kedo’s always been the favorite in my family. He always made sure he was better than me and when he became manager of that hotel, well, I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to get my revenge. I’m going to ruin his life any way that I can, starting with the destruction of Habbo Hotel. Are you with us?” I didn’t agree with him. I wanted to get out of this place. “Well?” said Phane impatiently. I hesitated and looked over my shoulder for Saiph, he was gone! What happened to him? I took off toward the door when I felt something grab me and throw me down. Soon after my head hit the concrete floor, I blacked out… I slowly awoke in a blackened area. My head hurt quite a bit and everything was fuzzy. I finally got my vision back and I realized that I was in a cell. "Oh good, you're up," a voice said. I turned around and there was Saiph sitting in a corner. "What's going on? Where are we?" I asked frantically. "Well, I wandered away from you because I thought that was Kedo, as did you. But once I found out it was Phane, I tried to run. You may not have noticed, but there were two big security guards by the door. One of them got me and dragged me off to this cell. I take it the other one got you. He threw you in here and left. That was three hours ago," Saiph explained. Suddenly I heard footsteps coming down the hallway towards our cell. Phane stepped out in front of our cell. "Hello, boys," he said in an evil tone. "Let us go, you fiend!" I yelled. "Tsk tsk, you're in no position to be yelling at me. No matter, in a few minutes you'll be under my control." "What do you mean?" Saiph piped up. "In a few minutes one of my guards will be in here to collect you both and take you to the brain draining machine. Once you have been freed of self thought, you will follow me." "Never!" I said. Habbo X apps open :) Guess what guys? In the USA hotel, the apps have now open for the habbo X's so, here is a little message from Becs to tell you about it Do you remember what it was like the first time you logged into Habbo? You didn't know where to go or what to do AND you were a 2 inch, pixelated walking target for meanies! Wouldn't it have been nice if someone had been there to explain the basics? And how cool would it have been to have someone help you find some shiny new friends who would have shown you how fun Habbo could be? Dream no more…that's what Habbo Xs are for! What Are Habbo Xs? Habbo Xs (short for eXperts) make friends with new players, chat with them, and show them the ropes. Xs will mainly hang about in the Welcome Lounge, but occasionally you will see them in other Public Rooms. Habbo Xs will introduce the Habbo Way and help make a new Habbos first visit to the Hotel safe and fun. Habbo Xs are different from Moderators. Habbo Xs meet and greet new users and introduce them to the Hotel, answer questions, show them how things work, etc. They don’t have tools, and they don’t moderate the Hotel. Think of Habbo Xs as gracious hosts and good-will ambassadors - Habbos who are there to take care of our newest Habbo players. Habbo Xs help with events, games, and safety. They’re eXtra special. Habbo Xs have funkeh badges too! A real Habbo X will always show their badge when asked. Do You Have What it Takes? We’re looking for a few good Habbo Xs. Just fill out the application below, if you qualify. Keep in mind that not just any Habbo can become a Habbo X! We are looking for Habbos with bags of experience, so we ask that Habbo X applicants have been visiting the site for at least six months. You’ll need to be the kind of person who enjoys meeting new people every day AND have the patience of a saint 0:-), as explaining how Habbo works can be tricky at times. You’ll have to breathe, eat and sleep the Habbo Way and know it by heart! Having a good Habbo record will also help immensely - *winks* The good news is, there is no age limit for Habbo Xs. We will choose stellar, friendly, well-respected, eXceptional Habbos from within the Habbo US community. The X team will likely only include 50 Habbo Xs at a time, so it will be very tough to be accepted. It’s not a lifelong commitment. You can be an X for as long or as little a time as suits you. People come and go as Xs and that’s good because it gives others a chance to X as well. Console Missions Vixenx takes a closer look at console missions... An interesting way of telling one Habbo from another is through their "mission". You can read a lot into their personality, likes and current mood just through this little sentence or two. It's really awesome [Honestly!] and led me to write up this little list of the main types of missions being clicked on around the Hotel. Maybe you can spot yours! Quotes: Many Habbos have missions with famous quotes, or lines from songs and poems that mean something to them. This could show they are outspoken and if it's a song then they may be interested in finding friends with similar musical interests. Helpful Habbo: You will often see a Habbo's mission as something along the lines of "Just Ask" or "Help is at hand" meaning that they feel they are an experienced player and wish to help other Habbos. Randomness: Yep what I like to call "randomness", every now and then you'll come across a mission which is just well...WEIRD. Something like "Cheese", "Bob rocks" or "HULLABALOO". Usually this is the case if one can't think of anything else to write or perhaps they are just looking for a reaction among their fellow Habbos! The Love Mission: One of the common missions expresses love, "Laura loves Jake", "James and Daisy 4ever" etc. Usually found in fancy accented letters or with love hearts, this habbo wants everyone to know they are in loove! The Mission Mission: I think that most Habbos when they first started playing had a mission like this, "To get a job" or "To make friends and have fun", after all it is a MISSION! The Habbos who have these missions are usually new to the hotel, and you should be nice to them :) Jobs/Armies: Newer players and a few experienced often have missions showing their "Habbo Job", for example "M@DM" or "[U.S.T] Rank 5". This is the often the case if they have yet to use their mission for expressing themselves, but usually it can be found along side something else. Carryin: Something like "Carrying: Lightsaber" or "Carrying: Make-up" is common to see at the end of a lot of Habbos missions. Possibly it is something they really carry around with them in the real world, something that shows who they are. Blank: Self-explanatory, a blank mission. A lot of Habbos go for this option if they can't think of a suitable thing to write. Trading: Simply "Trading" as the mission is another common one and often used to trick other Habbos into thinking they are engaged in a trade, or maybe to limit the number of trades they are offered. Name: This is the Habbo's real life name or a nickname they like to be known by, usually with decorative alt symbols around it or a TM sign at the end. This is most likely so they can be known by their actual name, and not as "hotbabex848" or "coolguy4285". Offer me: "Offer me a lodge bar for my candy bed" Need I explain? This Habbo is putting their mission to use! Advertising: Another practical way of using the mission, this is just a good method of advertising rooms or websites. (Be very careful if you visit websites advertised in a Habbo's mission, it's probably best if you don't go to them at all). Phew, I think that just about covers them all! There are so many different ways you can express yourself through missions, but remember whatever one you choose to have try to be yourself and stay unique :] Thanks for reading! SAW! takes "Saw" to a whole new level... In honor of Saw 3 releasing into theaters on October 27, I have decided to make my own Habbo Version of Saw. Enjoy :D -Snip was a nice Habbo and every Habbo loved him except the ones he scammed or stole furni from. "Wh..where am I?" -snip asked. There was no reply. He couldnt see anything except an outline of a red portable tv. The screen flashed on. A clown appeard, "Hello -snip. I have seen your actions and the ways you play Habbo. They dont follow the Habbo Way,and that's why you're here. I want to play a game." The lights turned on, and it revealed that the room was full of Furni, and the floor was covered by Petal Patches. "This is all the Furni that you scammed or stole from fellow Habbos. You will have thirty seconds to try and find a key for the door in the Petal Patches, and to make it even more fun the lights will be out and you can only use the flashlight in front of you. While you're looking every second the Furni around you will move closer and closer. If you dont find the key all that will be left of you is a puddle of crushed pixels." The clown chuckled as the TV screen turned off. The lights went out and a timer on the wall said 30 seconds and it started to count down. 30.....29.....28..... (TO BE CONTINUED.........) What's a good password? When you create a Habbo the most important thing to think about (after your name of course) is what SAFE and SECURE password you will use.
