Public spaces are the alternative of guest created rooms. Public spaces are not owned by Habbo they are server created and the people behind the desks in these rooms are not real, they are robots, these robots can give you drinks if you politely ask.

All public rooms can hold a lot more people than the average size of guest rooms (25) and are often used for Habbo hotel competitions run by Habbo staff.

Once on the public space category you can choose from a wide range of public rooms. These rooms are great for meeting friends and if you want to get more people on your console to talk to.

As I said above in some public spaces there are robots that would around randomly behind the desks. If you would like to get a drink for one of these robots all you need to do is say cola please to one of them. Also some robots give you information, for example in the welcome lounge the robot will give you information about the hotel for new Habbos so if you are new and if you information talk to the bot in the welcome lounge.
